Lasso Safe Newsletter – March 2024

The 2024 Summer Olympics torch will be lit in five months, passed in a unique relay, hand-in-hand from country to country, athlete to athlete. Seasoned Olympians will pass the torch, a token of their dreams-come-true, to formative Champions carrying on the honor and legacy of being one of the greatest athletes in the world. But behind the flame, another narrative is passed, one that has defined the pursuit of gold for too many generations.

We have all read about the price paid by champions such as Joanne Reid and Aly Raisman; but have we, as family, friends and colleagues, done enough to change this year’s news reports or will Survivor headlines continue to dim the glory of the games?

You’re invited to join Lasso Safe Talks as we follow this year’s athlete experiences and the efforts of Survivors, Olympians and governing bodies to write a new narrative. Be a part of the conversation to keep the darker side of sport out of Paris and protect young athletes carrying on the pursuit of gold.
