The 2024 Paris Olympics are set to being on July 26th. For four hundred and ninety-five young athletes who will be representing the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the excitement is growing. Some new, some returning, these young lives will be changed forever by the glory and gold of being an Olympian.  

But for some, the journey to gold comes at a price. Ninety-nine of these young men and women have experienced physical abuse by a member of their sports organization and forty-one have experienced sexual abuse by these members*. That’s equivalent to the collective dismissal of over eleven soccer teams, discarded as collateral for their pursuit of the Olympic dream.

Lasso Safe’s tool, Sports Wellness Platform (SWP), applies the science of mental, emotional, physical and social environments to benefit the health, wellness and performance of sport organizations and their people. ​Using verified science, SWP preemptively identifies environmental risks and leads real-time learning through experience recognition.

Sports organizations everywhere – from amateur and Olympic governing bodies to multisport and youth organizations – can use SWP to prioritize the health and safety of their athletes, maximize company value and optimize the human and social capital performance of their business.
